Collaborating with Wells & Jessica Mason has been one of the best moves I’ve made. Not only are we able to get some amazing work done, I’ve established a magnificent relationship that has grown into a true friendship.
During our summer vacation together, I spit out an idea of doing a “Portrait Event” at the Ironwood showroom. It was a random thought off the top of my head, but Wells really went with it. I’m glad he did, because we were able to put on something special.
Our thoughts were to have an event where creatives in Austin can come check out the showroom, mingle and have their portrait taken. We wanted it to be really fun and be able to capture someone’s true personality. Well’s described it as “capturing your essence”.
We decided to do a small test run to see how the event would play out. We all had so much fun and I got to meet & photograph some very interesting people. I think everyone was happy and we are looking to put on the bigger event in the summer.
