Good Ol’ Victoria, TX…

It’s been a minute since I’ve headed out that way. Its about a 2.5 hour drive from San Antonio and a relatively small town. (I guess most places are small compared to San Antonio). So, I was surprised to receive an email from a local architecture firm needing photography work.

RMA Architects had just completed the new Emergency Room for Citizen Hospital. They were only two weeks from opening and they needed some photography done before the ribbon cutting. Luckily, I had some availability in my schedule.

Everything had to be setup real quick like. Once the new ER opened, there was no way we could coordinate a photoshoot. It would be pure chaos. So, I set out the next week to get it all done.

When I tell you the new emergency room is impressive, I’m understating since I don’t know how better to describe it. We were able to spend the whole day, uninterrupted, free to photograph how I see fit. It was great!
